Confluo Global is a United States based technical advisory firm that strengthens the institutions responsible for economic development. We work with public agencies, quasi-public development organizations, chambers, and business support organizations to assess organizational readiness, redesign core processes, build internal staff capability, and design training that transfers skill rather than awareness. Where digital and artificial intelligence tools improve institutional throughput, we integrate them into the redesign and train staff to use them well. The practice is led by Dell Gines, PhD, CEcD, Chief Innovation Officer of the International Economic Development Council, the largest professional association for economic developers. He previously spent twelve years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in community and economic development research and practice, and has trained more than 1,000 practitioners across 45 states.
