Construction of works for the improvement of the drinking water and collective sanitation system in Canton Llano Los Patos, Playa Las Tunas, Playa Torola, El Canoguero, Playas Negras, Playa Blanca, Playa El Jagüey, El Tamarindo, district of Conchagua

El Salvador, through the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program to Support the Recovery and Expansion of the Tourism Sector in El Salvador". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the development of water and sanitation infrastructure in tourist areas.

Scope of the works
Main objective: Execution of works for the improvement of the drinking water and collective sanitation system in various communities and beach sectors of the district of Conchagua, municipality of La Unión Sur, department of La Unión.

Execution period: The estimated time for the construction and development of the works is 390 days.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is carried out in accordance with the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.

Evaluation criteria: Participants must submit audited financial statements for the last fiscal years, in addition to accrediting compliance in annual turnover, liquid assets, experience as a main contractor, key personnel and availability of machinery.

Previous activities: Guided field visit days will be coordinated at the construction sites to verify ground conditions, as well as a previous informative meeting in virtual mode.

Guarantee required: All proposals must be accompanied by the Bid Maintenance Statement document.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the rules: The bidding documents in Spanish are available for direct download on the official MITUR portal and in the COMPRASAL system, or by request to the email of the procurement unit.

Delivery method: Bids must be submitted physically and in a sealed envelope to the Ministry of Tourism. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late proposals will be rejected. The public opening of envelopes will be carried out in person.
