The AMBA I project includes the execution and commercial refurbishment of the following infrastructure:
· ET Plomer 500/220/132 kV
· LEAT 500 kV Plomer – Ezeiza ET linkage approx. 35 km
· LEAT 500 kV ET Plomer – ET Atucha linkage, approx. 98 km and EM Atucha extension.
· 220 kV double tern LAT ET Plomer – ET Zappalorto linkage, approx. 30 km
· 220 kV double tern LAT ET Plomer – ET Pantanosa, approx. 35 km
· LAT 132 kV double tern linkage ET Plomer – ET Luján, approx. 21 km
· Adaptation of the Gral Rodriguez 500/220 kV and Ezeiza 500/220 kV ET
· Expansion of the 25 de Mayo 500/132 kV power station.
· Adaptation of the 500 kV LEAT connections to the Ezeiza and Gral Rodríguez ETs.
· LEAT 500 kV section, approx. 4.5 km for the future connection of LEAT Henderson – ET Ezeiza and ET Ezeiza – ET Gral. Rodríguez 1 and the new ET Henderson – ET Gral Rodríguez 1 Interconnection.
· LEAT 500 kV section, approx 4.5 km linking LEAT 25 de Mayo – ET Ezeiza and ET Ezeiza – ET Gral Rodríguez 2 and the new ET 25 de Mayo – ET Gral Rodríguez 2 interconnection.
The execution period of the works is 52 months and the operation and maintenance is 15 years.
The project, called "AMBA I", will be financed by private companies under a public works concession scheme.
